Default MORE PEN CONTROL!!! INNOCENT EYES ARE AT RISK!!!

Everyone knows that pens...and pencils can be dangerous to ones eyeballs.

Since this is the case, and since one lost eye, is one too many...I propose the following:

1. A minimum age limit on those who can purchase or possess pens/pencils. If we keep pens/pencils out of a person's hand, until say, at least 21, they will be more mature, and know how to use them correctly.

2. Everyone who desires pen/pencil ownership, must first, send in money, complete a safety-training course on proper and correct pen/pencil usage, and become licensed by the state, stating that they have done the above.

3. A limit of 5 pens/pencils per household. Who on earth would need more? They only have one purpose...that is to write. You only need one of them to write, and if they fall into the wrong hands, innocent eyes are at stake.

4. In order to purchase a pen/pencil, there must be a 5 day waiting period. This is to confirm that the person, purchasing the pen/pencil has had no prior mishaps, accidents, or incidents, of outting someone's eye.

5. The sharpness of the pen tip, or the pencil point, must be no greater than .007. Otherwise, it is only going to be used to gouge someones eye. Remember, one eye lost, is one too many.

6. Trading of pens/pencils can only be done by a licensed dealer. That way, unregulated pens/pencils won't fall into the wrong hands.

Everyone, remember to support the above guidelines, that way, all of us can sleep more soundly, and our eyes can feel safer.

Good day!

I think it should be against the law for some people to own and operate a BRAIN!

Chipmunk,

No law required. I observe people every day operating without one, at least by all appearances!!

You forgot to add that all mechanical pencils can only hold 3 pieces of lead. High capacity mechanical pencils will be banned.

WOW, looks like someone needs to come up with a good "lead lock", Maybe a big rubber eraser for both ends for when they are not in use.

All pens should be kept in a locked pen safe while not in use.
