Beating the U.S.A.?!

This was taken from my local paper today in "Letters to the Editor"......

When the U.S. takes a pounding, who rushes in with men and money to help?
Nobody has helped. Where as if other countries need help- the Americans come with men and money to help.
But when America gets flattened by tornadoes, no one helps.
I`d like to see these countries that are gloating over the beating the U.S. is taking for example in Iraq- step in to help. Come om lets hear it. Cowards.
Can you name me one time where someone else raced to help Americans in touble? No you cannot.
Our nieghbours have faced floods, tornadoes, draft dodgers, terrorists totally alone.
I am a Canadian who is damn tired of hearing them get kicked around. They`ll come out with their flags flying high and thumb their noes at the countries who gloated over their present troubles and I desperately hope that Canada isn`t one of them.

This was not meant to insult anyone.

i agree i cannot remember one country sending money or aid to the USA ,it is about time the leaders remember this and stop sending aid to everone and their brother

The smug french looking smerks- how soon they forget who saved there as$ES all of them.
As allways we( the average american) have everything to lose& nothing to gain- but it is us they come to from all over the world when they need help.

I agree 100% too stop sending them all any aid& money, food ,etc etc, etc .

Then maybe they can spend a little more for those defending america- so thay arent 2 steps away from begging for food stamps for themselfs& there familys.
You noticed how the last pres used out military power ? all the while- downgrading them& making them less.We for sure dont need to be aiding our enemys like billy did thew his actions& INACTIONs.
It is time we look out for our own period .

There has been one other that helped and that only a couple of years ago. Oddly enough it was ***an that sent aid. I don't recall the event, possibly 9/11, but do recall mention being made of it on the news.

Yep they did. I did think of them doing that why back then as you say & the hun , but like ya say they had reasons( we fight the brits then they dont have too), plus they gave us the statue of liberty[]...like some indebted french prostauie they thought.
