Default Should have known

I heard a report today from one of the liberal mouth pieces and we should have known, these forged documents the liberals have come up with now is the republicans fault, since they have been caught red-handed they put the blame on the republicans, they say that they was set-up and the republicans got them into the right hands to where the libbies would end up with them, then as the news broke about them as being sure the demmies would run with it then the republicans would come forth and prove then being a fraud, can you believe it.

IF, IF, IF, it were true that it was a Republican plot, Dum Rather, CBS, all the other liberal network cronies, the DNC, and Heinz-kerry, have all proved that they are dumber than dirt, and certainly un-fit to run our country!

Now Strut,

I may not be that old, but I do remember a thing called Watergate. And I believe the DNC had quite a hand in "setting-up" Nixon and his toadies.

The only difference here, of course, is that Nixon stepped down (of course before impeachment proceedings) and that the Republicans never really denied it. There was also not much finger-pointing.

However, I definitely believe that this could have been a setup the whole way! The only difference between now and Watergate, is of course, the old GOP was kind enough to take its lumps and move on, without accusations of being "setup".

With a trial lawyer as a VP candidate, can you really be surprised at any spin that eminates from that campaign?!

I has pretty young during the watergate deal and don't know much about it at all, but IMO if someone from the republicans was capable of pulling this kind of thing off we need to appoint him to head up the RNC.

And if it was a setup, I say good job to the guys who planned and executed it. It's about time that someone had the balls to expose the media for the completely left-biased mouthpiece that it is. Rather and the rest of the flunkies at the Communist Broadcasting Service took the bait hook, line and sinker. I'm sure they were tripping over each other in the newsroom trying to get this on the air and further drag Bush's name through the dirt, without so much as a second thought to its authenticity.

I hope this does torpedo Kerry's campaign, and if Rather gets canned for it all the better (which I doubt will happen). This is their payback for YEARS of biased and untruthful reporting and sensationalism. They'll both get what they deserve.

As I recall Republicans turned against Nixon something very few Democrats did during Clinton Impeachment saga.

Oldelkhunter,

That is what is known as STATESMANSHIP! The Republicans of Nixon's era had statesmen who went to him and said resign or we will vote unanimously with the Democrats for Impeachment. The Democrats of Clinton's era, and of this era, had/have no statesmen!! They are all PARTISANS!!!!
