CLASS ACT! I thought her speech was great, and Arnold was pretty darn good himself. All in all I thought it was a great night for the Republicans.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a side-by-side video of Teresa Hunt-Kerry speaking at the Democratic Convention and Laura Bush speaking at the Republican Convention? That would be instructive.

I heard some pundits on Fox say they thought Laura Bush didn't bring anything substantial to the convention and that she did not advance the cause. I think that is preposterous. I wonder if that view was the result of a male-dominated panel of pundits (there may or may not have been a woman on the panel). I watched this speech with my wife and I guarantee you Laura Bush advanced the cause among the women who watched her speech! screw William Crystal!!! She was so natural and un-posed. She made important points plainly and frankly.

Ditto on CLASS ACT!! The pundits are often wrong and fail to comprehend that a first lady's most significant contribution is in not being controversial, weird, unpopular, etc. She should support her husband and not detract from him. Speaking eloquently and having good morals and judgement like Laura is a huge bonus.
