I heard a small snippet on the new's (not talk radio) that Kerry's camp said that "POSSIBLY" his first wound was self inflicted, it appear's that he wrote in his journal nine day's after his wound that he had not yet recieved enemy fire ? anyone else hear this and was there any corraboration to the story ?
I haven't heard that , but if it turns out that theres evidence to prove it he's done. I beleive it is probably true based on his reactions to all the Swift Boat Veteran's Stories

I bet the swift boaters are being truthful. They are all telling the same story and kerry has not denied any of it, he is a big OL"LIAR and he knows it. Its hard to combat the truth, especially when you have lied for many decades. How anyone can support him is beyond me.
The swift boat vets coming forth as they have knows how they would be and are being scrutinized by the media and every liberal gangster there is, They know that they had better be telling the truth or it would all be over for them, kerry can't tell the real truth cause it would all be over for him LOL. Kerry kind reminds you of a kid, remember when you was a kid you might tell a mis-truth and even get to believing it yourself, I bet he wishes these swift boat guys had never started this, now he is in a fix and know where to turn, he is caught up in his own lies and scared to death the real truth is about to develop, when it does bye-bye kerry and his life long dream of being president. Don't you know he HATES them with a passion, would'nt you like to hear the little secret conversations he and the libbies have about them.

If this is true and gets out (and is somehow confirmed), kerry will melt down faster than Dukakis. Even the demos won't support a liar who gets caught lying about something so infuriating.

Another funny deal about his medals, Why did he not want them back in the early 70's and deceived everyone by throwing them away, now they are so precious and so well earned. He is nothing but a JOKE.

Kerry cannot refute the testimony of Radm (ret) Shackte. The Radm devised a means of patrolling at night using a Boston Whaler, the boat/operation was called Batman, and Shackte was called Batman. He went on EVERY patrol that the Boston Whaler was used. Kerry's first injury was within the first week of his arrival in Vietnam in November 1968. He was on the Boston Whaler along with Radm Shackte (at that time Lt Shackte). Kerry went to shoot at somthing and his rifle was empty, well prepared in case of hostile fire, so he picked up an M79 and launched a grenade towards the bank. The resultant explosion resulted in shrapnel coming back and hitting him, a self inflicted wound. When he put in for a Purple Heart, his skipper told him to forget it! Later, after he transferred to the Swift Boat, he put in for it again and it was approved. This was the wound that required only a bandaid to cover his "injury".
This has been around for at least two weeks, possibly three yet it has not made the mainstream press and probably won't. Kerrys personal journal on his 9th day on the boats indicate that to that point he had not experienced enemy fire. This was several days after the incident with the thumper.
He shot a grenade launcher and hit some rocks at the bank of the river. He got hit with a little piece of shrapnel from that. The medic who took care of that "wound" said it was less severe than a prick from a rose bush thorn. Tweesers and a band aid. Another purple heart came when h through a grenade into a large container of rice that was too close. He got sprayed in the azz with some rice. He wrote up in his submission for the purple heart that he got in under heavy enemy fire. I also found it interesting the Kerry's two main strategies when encountering another boat were to either flee until he was sure there was no enemy fire or he would open fire on vessels first because he didn't want to approach them.
