If I were to say that I denounce all anti-hunting groups, should I be criticized for not denouncing PETA, and therefore, I support PETA? Just wondering if this kind of logic holds water. Thanks for your feedback!
Not sure I understand the logic (or lack thereof) of your question. Could you make the question a little clearer? Not trying to be a smartaleck, just not sure what you're getting at. using your example, denouncing ALL anti-hunting groups would seem to include PETA (at least as they and I understand their position) and thus be repetitive to single them out. Although I guess you could use them as an example of an anti-hunting group.

Man, I thought I was going to be criticised for being too obvious.[&:]
Bush has denounced all ads from these 527 groups, and said they have no place in the election. He has mantained this position all along, on both sides of the race. However, he has been criticised for not denouncing the Swift Boat ad specifically. I say he need not do it.
Now, of course, he has, and the Dem's are crying about too little, too late. Meanwhile, Kerry, a known opponent to the 2nd amendment, is now showing contempt for the first amendment by trying to stifle the swift boat vets' free speech rights.

Now eto, you have been around long enough to know that the 1st amendment comes into play only when the liberals right to free speech is trampled on, we did'nt hear a word out of any of them until the Swift Boat Vets struck a nerve with tomatoe head, now he is wanting to shut them up.
Kerry is in trouble and he knows it, he is just starting to see the begining of the end of kerry-edwards.

If you examine history carefully, most of those opposed to the 2nd amendment (or a right like it) are generally opposed to the 1st amendment or a right like it.

Yeah we will see alright, if kerry is elected we will see our gun-rights go down the drain. But that ain't going to happen, kerry has done and been caught up in his own deceitfulness to many times. No bounce from the re-invention convention and the republicans are going to see one whale of a bounce after theirs next week, kerry is on a slippery slope, thats why he is denouncing the true veterans of this country their first amendment rights, he is scared its all over for him and he needs to be.

thanks Strut
