Default Aaaagh! I "accidently" supported PETA!

OMG, I want to die.... I want to hang my head in shame.....

You all are familiar with the famous rock band BOSTON. (You remember.... "More than a feeling", "Rock 'n roll band", "Feelin' Satisfied", "Cool the engines", etc...etc...)

Here in Richmond, VA, they were in town last night. $20 bucks a ticket at the big outdoor pavilion. My daughter went with me, my brother-in-law, and another buddy. We had a blast. The band sounded awesome! I mean, they ROCKED! [8D] They only have 2 original members, but, they still have that "trademark sound".

Anyway, I checked the band's website and was horrified when I read about Tom Scholz (leader of the band, lead guitar, engineer, inventor, etc...)

----Main website----
http://www.boston.org/boston2.html

----Info on the band members----
http://www.boston.org/musicians2.html
Read the last paragraph on Tom Scholz' bio! [&:][] OMG... He's a PETA-head!!!!!!!!!!!!! [:@]

I can't believe it! This incredible, talented, engineer/musician supports PETA and Greenpeace! I am a fellow guitarist and can rock out to BOSTON tunes like everyone else, and like the band, but now, I don't know what to feel.... [:-]

That's ok Butch ,
you aren't the first innocent lamb to get hoodwinked by PETA drones . Incredible and talented doesn't mean that you can't be gullible too .

I know... I know.... Forgive me.... [&o]

From now on, I will thoroughly check out a band's bio and support issues before I spend money on a ticket. I mean, I'm sorry... BOSTON can still rock all these years later, but I mean, PETA?!?!?[&:] Greenpeace?!?!? [&:] H.S.U.S.?!?!?![&:] Say it ain't so!!!! [:@]

ButchA -

I know how you feel. I went through my formative years with Boston. Absolutely love(d) their stuff. I was given their newest CD- Corporate America - for Christmas. The name of the CD should tell you something but they listed all of the groups they support and they are all a bunch of nutjobs.

I've got a boycott list as long as my arm and unfortunately getting longer every day.

Yeah - these guys have always been a bunch of freaks. I too love the band and have their old albums. I remember reading their first album cover and they were all vegetarians back then. Oh well. Freaks, but great musicians.
