We allowed a large advertiser to place a billboard on our property and part of the contract includes a 1 month a year free billboard space. Not necessarily the sign on our property but a pick from half a dozen other sites throughout the city. Anyway we need an idea or slogan to use on the billboard. We don't want to advertise the club on it except for maybe a "brought to you by" at the bottom. We would like to say something about PA. Hunters and having a safe hunting season, take a kid hunting??? We don't know! I thought maybe some of you could give some ideas.. Maybe you've seen signs in your state..
Any thoughts would be appreciated.. Please not political ads though!

Also the sign should be able to be reused every year around hunting season.They are made of vinyl and last a long time.

Something about continuing American heritage in PA... A seen of a boy (or girl) with father (or mother) walking off the field at sunset, dog at their side, game birds in hand, smiling, hand on shoulder, etc. would be nice if yiu could get such a photo.
Those could both work, but how about a little more..... Come on guys open up your imaginations

Use whatever picture you want with a statement such as;
Hunting is an American Tradition and Enrichess Family Values

Maybe something about how hunting is not only an American family tradition but a right that we should pass on to our children. I know you would have to reword this, but I am sure you get the gist.

Just a brain storm grade of idea (perhaps very good, perhaps very poor):
Blaze orange vest -- $20
Hunting boots -- $47
Your first whitetail with your dad at your side -- priceless
Something along that line. Obviously this tack has been used in many ads, but as such I don't think anyone could claim the argument was copyrighted or trademarked (but a concern to think through). The point is to associate a rich -- a priceless -- experience with hunting and to link it to one's closest, deepest feelings about their family and parents. Even a non-hunter whose father -- perhaps now deceased -- or grandfather was a hunter can be reached in this way. The argument is along emotional lines which seem to work better with people. It also seems to be along emotional, non-rational lines that the hunting sport is attacked.
