Kerry playing politics with Yucca Mountain & American Safety
In an effort to get more votes, Kerry denounced Bush's plan to use Yucca mountain for storage of nuclear waste. But once again, Kerry has given no alternative site (ie. no negative news for other voters) as a solution. The result would be nuclear waste still spread out over the entire country, vulnerable to leakage or being stolen, etc. I have noticed a trend from Kerry of criticizing Bush without giving HIS own solutions to those criticisms, I guess because they would have to withstand scrutiny as well.

I saw yesterday where Bush points out that Kerry himself voted to store it there. There he goes, waffling again! I think this is important, because it shows how Kerry will say whatever it takes to get votes by eliminating a negative in the Yucca region, while not offering an alternative (negative). I guess he hopes that by supporting a positive policy out there for a region, without putting a commensurate negative out there for some other region, he will gain votes. But without storing nuclear waste somewhere, it will continue to be spread out all over the country and pose health and security risks. My understanding is that nuclear waste storage is way overdue. Kerry's feet need to be held to the fire on this one, "You know its storage is way overdue. Therefore, surely you have an alternative site. Mr. Kerry, what is that alternative?"

How pathetic that your only campain issue is "I'm not Bush" and "I am a vietnam vet (of 4 months). Kerry should put out a commercial "Sure I suck, but, I'm not GWB & I went to vietnam - I won't elaborate on ANYTHING any further".

Even if bush mispeaks now& then least he isnt full of **** like kerry there.I think he needs to stay in mass.
But yep they been draging there feet for yrs on where to put it all. testing containers& trucks& sites etc.
They where going to put it here too but i guess where talked out of that/ changed there minds.

Anyone really think that some billionairess's sockpuppet with nice hair is going to come up with solutions to any problems?
The only platform that Kerry is running on is "I'm not George Bush" he doesn't have to have any answers to anything based on reality because about 1/2 of the population will vote for him not because of who is, but who he is not.

Have you guys come to expect anything more out of Bozo? If he were up here in WA he'd say better Yucca than Hanaford[:'(] HE's a fool and I think the silent majority is going to let it be known come Nov. Remember all the polls show Kerry leading, that's the media helping to boost the morale of their minions, they don't really want you to know the DNC is scared right now and they are, because Kerry is the best they got.
IF he is as good as they say why then did he not get a boost in the polls during the convention?
