The only way Kerry could defeat terrorism is by boring it to death .
Or maybe he'll poke it in the eye as he's raising his hands in the "French greeting" ...

At the time the photo was taken a similar reference would have been made , the only difference would be that the insulted party would have been the Cubans .
I never did understand those damned hippies ... [:@]

My best friend is somewhat of a modern day hippy. The way I see him politically, it's idealism vs. realism, where reality is left completely out of the picture.
A person can either think with his heart or his brain. He is extremely intelligent and very well spoken, but he chooses to live his life as he wishes it to be, regardless of what others around the world are doing to destroy his freedom.
Aught Six, that is the defining divide between republicans and democrats. Democrats pursue policies based on idealism, while republicans propose policies based on the real world.
When pressed about what he'd do to tackle terrorism, Kerry says he will talk to other countries. We tried that! It is easy to criticize, but he has to offer a VIABLE solution to our problems.

Amen to that! I'm a third party guy, but I can't help but draw myself closer to Republicans in these trying times. To borrow a rough quote from Sgt. Bill Guarnere, the Left has its head stuck so far up its a$$ that the lump in its throat is its gd'ed nose!
