I think I know where you are going with this because I thought the same thing when I saw the kerry home films. Something screwy about people who do that or was he planning that far ahead???
I have one photo of me from Nam. It's me with my buddy Spanner. He made it home first all in one peice. I nor anyone else in our recon team carried any camera. First there is nothing in combat I need to take a picture of to remember. Second, who wants to look at that or share it with people. The government takes enough film or video for history or propaganda. And last, do you know how much a rucksack weights? Why would I want to add the weight of a camera. I'd either take a couple of racks of ammo or some beans and franks rather than glory film.

In nam there was alot of footage shot. I dont know about Kerry's situation though. Dont really care. He served honorably, and saved 5 mens lives while there.
You are dealing in hypotheticals. I'll give ya some concrete numbers though. How many soldiers have been slaughtered in Iraq, in a war Bush started over WMD's that didnt exist?
Don't you mean to say the CIA being wrong( by the way was decimated in your Clinton Hero's years) the Russian's being wrong, Egypt being wrong, France being wrong, Jordan being wrong, Israel being wrong The UN being wrong, Clinton being wrong, Al Gore being wrong, John Edwards being wrong and John Kerry being wrong along with most all of the House and senate being wrong.. Nope not I , got a few stills from my day, but mostly we're usually too drunk to run a camera, or even stand up for that matter.... I do remember CNN interveiwing me once during " Desert Storm" but I don't think it aired? I think the Chaw I had in was too big for their camera[8D]
