Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Missouri passes marriage amendment..

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Reuters) - Missouri voters on Tuesday made their state the first in the United States to approve a state constitutional amendment banning gay marriage since a Massachusetts court decision last year set the stage for challenges to such unions.

How long do you think it will last before some judge steps in?

It's long past due for the judges to lose some of their power.
If the voters said NO, then that should be good enough.

Default RE: Missouri passes marriage amendment..

Yeah it passed bigtime, even bigger than what the numbers say, 71% for getting this amendment passed and 29% for not, and I know that alot of people voted no on it cause the wording on the ballot was confusing and alot of people voted no that thought they was voting too protect marriage and that it is between a man and woman only.

Now as far as a judge to step in and try to change it I don't think they will have a snowballs chance, it should be worded very plainly in the constitution that a marriage is between a man and a woman.
