Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Pro-abortion? They say no.

Ever hear a pro-abortion person attempt to explain to you that they think abortion is bad, but they don't want to deny other women that choice? Ever hear Planned Parenthood explain themselves similarily?

Explain this.

Yeah I have heard that alot , even on here by some, They say they don't agree with it but they think a woman's choice to kill here baby is more important than standing up for what they think is right, Kind of limp-wristed if you ask me.

Kerry has stated the he KNOWS that life begins @ conception. If that's his true view, which I doubt, how could anyone with that view allow for any abortion except in the case where continued pregnancy would kill the mother? Any other abortion would be for convenience, killing an innocent person convicted of no wrongdoing just for convenience. That, to me, is a patently indefensible position.

We sometimes forget that we elect politicians to represent our own views . They are supposed to vote based on the feelings of their constituency , not their own . How could you trust someone who only votes on their POV when placed in a position of leadership ?

I happen to be anti-abortion and believe that life begins at conception too , but if I write one letter to my Senator and 10,000,000 females write in too in favor of abortion I don't think my view will prevail . [&o]

I am one of those people, althought I think abortion is to be a last resort. Abortion to me is neither good nor bad--that label, if used at all, falls on the person herself. I am pro-choice because I feel that rights begin at childbirth, not at conception, and so the mother is the one with the right to manage her body. Life and personhood are two separate concepts in my book.

Still, I have no idea what PP are trying to accomplish by selling these t-shirts. If anything, I think it could very well backfire against their cause.

You're all missing the point of this.

Planned Parenthood is selling this T-shirt, and hopes that people will proudly state that...

Doesn't that directly contradict the mantra of, "We're against abortion, but support the right of people to have one." and "Abortion is between a woman and her doctor."

I can't understand how a woman could live with herself knowing she had her own child murdered, but to proudly advertise it to the public? Sick, sick, sick. "Planned Parenthood" is about as ridiculous a name as that orgainzation could come up with. There was no planning, and they don't intend for a woman to be a parent. I guess "Abortions 'R' Us" just didn't sound catchy enough to them.

Though I don't agree with you, I am so happy that you put your feelings into concise terms. So many pro-choicers and pro-lifers out there avoid the nature of their positions, relying on slogans, signs, personal attacks, etc. I feel that the true issue has never really been debated in our country at any meaningful level (courts).

In contrast to Aught Six, I feel that a human is concieved. He or she is human and living, and therefore has the right to life, along with any other enumerated or inalienable rights.

These two positions are all that need be debated. All the other stuff is irrelevant, and distracts from the real issue.

Kudos to you Aught. I wish more people presented themselves as you do.

I can't help but wonder, in this immoral, degenerating, "me first," society, if the next great American/world leader has not already been aborted?!!
Are'nt you glad your mom didn't choose to abort!??
