Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Yeah, finally someone that wouldn't take no BS from Feinstein, Kennedy, Kerry, Million moms, PETA or any of the other wack jobs out there.

I would vote for Mr. Nelson in a heart beat.

I'll second this statement.

Before the 9 bumbling idiots got whittled down to the "dumb and dumber" demo ticket we have today, Willie Nelson had a radio ad on in my area endorsing Dennis Kusinich, who is only slightly less liberal than John Kerry.

Be careful what you wish for...

Actually he is about the same as Kerry in his political views and believe it or not he is one of those "whack jobs". He is living proof that marijuana is in fact harmful to one's mental faculties. I lost all respect for him in the past few years.

Come on guys...it's a joke!
I just meant the guy's rebel tendencies might be different than some of the other hogwash in Washington. I'm not really serious here...that is what often doesn't come across on message boards like this.

I don't remember the time frame involved, but it would seem to me that Willy would not be so supportive of big government and taxation after the problems he had with the IRS.
I still love his music even if his political views are really weird.
