Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default War on Terror.

People say we are not winning, but yet there hasnt been an attack since the anthrax right after 9/11. They are too busy getting their a$$es kicked that they dont have time to attack.

Default RE: War on Terror.

Just a few thoughts...

Some folks will say were aren't winning because it isn't a democrat leading the way. Just my opinion, but I've seen it play out to much to not be true. If the shoe was on the other foot, they would be touting how great we are doing.

The fact there hasn't been anything *happen* doesn't mean it might not have been attempted, or that something was broken up in the planning stages... Yes, they are getting a good dose of *butt kicking*, but terrorism isn't what your average microwave american can understand. The "war on terror" isn't fought like they are used to, against folks they envision. The average instant gratification folks (I call 'em microwave americans) want a quick, clean, tidy operation that takes a 2 minute segment on the evening news. They want to hear the military version of wham bam thank you ma'am. It isn't that way in real life (ie, REALITY). The folks who want to blab *we haven't got Osama, have we...* have never seen Afghanistan. They don't realize the terrain this idiot calls home. They are showing not only the microwave syndrome, but ignorance and a good dose of stupidity as well.

One last thing. Will we be able to stop each and every terrorist act? NO. Given enough time and planning, it's possible to pull off just about anything. The secret is being able to keep the faith, work hard, disrupt and scatter cells when found and above all maintain vigilance.

Default RE: War on Terror.

We ARE winning the war on terrorism! It is hard to plan and pull off attacks, when you are in full retreat!
This war will never be totally won, but we are on top! The very nature of terrorism relies upon surprise, and complacency. The thing is, we will never be able to let our guard down! Even with Saddam out of power, and if/when we take out Osama, there will be others to follow after them! The point is, we ARE doing something, and we are winning! If you can call it that.
You are also right, in the fact that if the shoe where on the other foot, the dummycraps would be drooling all over themselves about how great a job they are doing on the war on terror!
The only problem with that, is that they had eight years to do something about terrorism! And with each attack, all they did was bang on a podium, and vow that the terrorists would pay dearly! Then they'd go back to sleep!
Well we've got a president now that is keeping Klintoons promises!
Now the dummycraps want to give our sovereignty to the UN and get the world to like us again!
Yeah, I'd rather have friends and allies, than enemies too! But there comes a point in time where you've got to draw the line in the sand and say, "you're either for us or against us!" We've done just that the last couple of years, and have found out just who our friends are, and how incompetent the UN is! We don't need to turn back now!
