Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Carter was probably as good of man as we have ever had to be president , but he was one of the worst presidents we ever had, HE NEEDS TO SHUT-UP.

It's sad to see because I've always worked to have respect for President Carter, though he was truly a horrid President. It's very disingenuous for him to say that N. Korea is a greater threat when he helped broker the deal that the N. Koreans used to gain nuclear weapons.

yeah and the fact that he KNOWS about terrorism is BS. Democrats are risky when they roll out a former prez who record is as follows: 18% inflation, 20% unemployment, didnt do anything about the hostages in IRAN.

another thing that pissed me off was the fact he used the TERM "we" as in we defeated the soviets... "we" my arse.... it was all reagan nobody in the democratic party like his policies toward the soviets..... kevin 1 i think you can add carter to the list of basket cases...

oh yeah i forgot the gas lines going from cleveland to pittsburgh if you were lucky. forgive me i wasnt around then.

Among the many things that annoy me about Mr. Peanut was when he gave away our canal to Panama . We built it so that our warships could bypass going around S. America , thereby shortening the journey for strategic advantage , and he gave it away . Now he has the nerve to dog a President who did more for the country in his first 100 days than Dipsheit did during his entire term . Dipstickcrats still harp about the Camp David Accords that he brokered . BFD ! The Eqyptians and Israelis may not be at war anymore , but they'll never be friends , and the Middle East is still the same terrorist filled cesspool that it's always been . He acomplished exactly nothing except making us look like pansies when he refused to go after Iran .

8x8 ,
consider it done .

You mean the guy who may have helped the Terrorist get their much needed boost to get started? HE pretty much helped get the Moolahs into power in Iran. He knows about as much about Middle Eastern affairs as a rock.

Oct. 19 1973.A total ban on oil exports to the Unites States was imposed by the Arab oil-producing nations after the outbreak of the an Arab-Israeli War. The ban was lifted March 16, 1974

How do you think this would effect us if this were to happen tomorrow? Think there might be some gas lines? Think our inflation and unemplyment might sky rocket?

J. Carter has the same first Amendment rights as anyone. Like him or not he was elected President and has the same right to speak as any past President.

Kevin1, Do you think thet the camp David meetings helped to keep our oil flowing?

I was only ten when he was President so I can't comment on his policies with out doing alot of reading.

No Charlie ,
I don't . Most of the Arab countries were livid when Begin and Sadat shook hands on worldwide tv and declared peace between their two countries . They were furious because it made an Arab look like a total puss in their eyes , and confirmed US support for their hated enemy Israel . The only thing that keeps "our" oil flowing is Arab greed and our money .

Charlie P I remember when he was president and I was trying to buy my first home. 17% interest rates oh that was so nice. This was one the most incompetent MOFO's we ever had in any office that is all I can say.
