Default Like hunting & fishing? VOTE!!

As a young and (semi) educated adult, seeing so many other young persons that will not vote because of either being uneducated, mis-informed or they have not registered to vote really bothers me.

I do not know as much as I would like to about the political system, which is why I choose to inform and educate myself. I choose to vote Republican because this is the party that I feel represents myself and especially my way of life. Not only am I a firm supporter of the Second Ammendment, but also anything that involves hunting, fishing, personal freedoms and rights, and outdoor use.

I will vote for President Bush to keep my lifestyle the way that it is and help to protect our rights and freedoms for not only this generation, but generations to follow.

I know that there is not much that I can do to help convince others, not only young adults, but every person of legal age to register to vote and to vote, but I know that there are contributions that I can make.

My sister and I are working on coming up with a slogan, motto and design for t-shirts and maybe decals to help encourage other outdoor enthusiasts like ourselves and outdoorsmen and outdoorswomen to vote, and to vote for President Bush. If this plan goes through (it is only in the beginning stages of planning) I will be making and selling t-shirts to help support President Bush and what this forum as well as many other forums believe in.

I am asking for some help and ideas on what these shirts should say- our central idea is pretty much- Like hunting & Fishing? Vote Bush. It's pretty cut and dry right now, as it is just the beginning and just mapping out ideas, but your help is very much appreciated!

Thank you all!
Lara

I would look at many of the bumberstickers that have been posted on the bumberstickers thread here in the political forum.

Thanks and thank you Christine for explaining that to me in the other forum.

The shirts are in the works- just need to get all the ideas mapped out and figure out how the easiest way to ship and accept payment for the shirts would be, if somebody has any ideas?

It sounds to me as if you and your sister are doing a great thing. For young people such as yourselves to be motivated to do something like this says alot about you both. With the attitudes you have on doing something to help in a cause in which you beleive is comendable. It also says alot for your upbringing someone has done a good job.

Back to your post. there have always been those bumper stickers which are simple and to the point like.....Sportsman for Bush....Hunters for Bush...but I don't recall ever seeing a sticker for Sportswomen for Bush...or Outdoors Women for Bush
