Default John Kerry: Anti-Gun Hypocrite???

This article may have been posted before...I did not do a search. I do remember one post where Kerry stated after shooting "clays" that he was told "17 out of 39 was pretty good" LMAO!!! What a crock.......I just considered the source of the quote.

Check out the link.....

While John Kerry may (or may not) support the rights of hunters, he clearly has no interest in the rights of American citizens as it pertains to firearm ownership and the preservation of our Second Amendment.

He seems to think that posing for the photos shown to the right, combined with his prior military service, makes him a gun-rights candidate worthy of your vote.

What he doesn't want to you know is:

* In 2004, John Kerry voted AGAINST legislation that would protect firearm manufacturers from frivolous lawsuits. These lawsuits are typically filed by gun-ban organizations or individuals on behalf of criminals who died from firearm wounds while conducting criminal activities.

* In 2000, Kerry voted FOR an amendment to bar gun manufacturers from being released from their debts that were brought about by lawsuits charging fraud, negligence, recklessness or product liability. (Most frequently, this means the frivolous lawsuits mentioned in the item above).

* In 1999, Kerry voted FOR a bill that prohibits the sale or tranfer of a handgun without a trigger lock.

* In 1999, John Kerry voted AGAINST a bill that would repeal the "Assault Weapons" ban. This is an erroneously named piece of legislation as an "Assault Weapon" is merely a rifle with cosmetic features that give the appearance of military functionality. Actual performance of such rifles provides the launching of one trajectory for every trigger pull. This is consistent with all other firearms, except machine guns.

John Kerry claims to support "reasonable gun control" -- a catch phrase invented by gun-banners who think that "reasonable" means using every means available to deny you of your right to keep and bear arms.

This type of political double-speak is designed specifically to mislead a pro-gun Democrat into voting for an anti-gun Democrat. I wonder how many pro-gun Democrats will use the photos to the right to justify their desire to vote party line, regardless of the truth and the cost?

Â*

John Kerry supports a ban on semi-automatic rifles that have certain cosmetic features, but perform in the same manner as other rifles. This ban is erroneously titled, the "Assault Weapons" ban.

Â*

John Kerry supports frivolous lawsuits against firearm manufacturers.

It is hard to believe that ANY American gun owner could fall for such an anti-gun loser like Hienz-kerry! But sadly, many of the COMPROMISE crowd will fall for his crap, hook, line, and sinker!

If you shot like that, you would probably miss the first couple of times.
