Once upon a time, on a farm in Texas, there was a
little red hen who scratched about the barnyard until
she uncovered quite a few grains of wheat.
She called all of her neighbors together and said,
"If we plant this wheat, we shall have bread to eat.
Who will help me plant it?"
"Not I," said the cow.
"Not I," said the duck.
"Not I," said the pig.
"Not I," said the goose.
"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen.
And so she did. The wheat grew very tall and ripened
into golden grain.
"Who will help me reap my wheat?" asked the little red hen.
"Not I," said the duck.
"Out of my c lassification," said the pig.
"I'd lose my seniority," said the cow.
"I'd lose my unemployment compensation," said the goose.
"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen,
and so she did.
At last it came time to bake the bread. "Who will help
me bake the bread?" asked the little red hen.
"That would be overtime for me," said the cow.
"I'd lose my welfare benefits," said the duck.
"I'm a dropout and never learned how," said the pig.
"If I'm to be the only helper, that's discrimination," said
the goose.
"Then I will do it by myself," said the little red hen.
She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see.
They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share But the little red! hen said, "No, I shall eat all five loaves."
"Excess profits!" cried the cow.
"Capitalist leech!" screamed the duck.
"I demand equal rights!" yelled the goose.
The pig just grunted in disdain.
And they all painted "Unfair!" picket signs and marched around and around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.
Then a government agent came, he said to the little red hen, "You must not be so greedy."
"But I earned the bread," said the little red hen.
"Exactly," said the agent. "That is what makes our free enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants. But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those w! ho are lazy and idle."
And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, "I am grateful, for now I truly understand"
But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her She never again baked bread because she joined the "party" and got her bread free.
And all the Democrats smiled. 'Fairness' had been established. Individual initiative had died but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared, as long as there was free bread
Bill Clinton is getting $12 million for his memoirs. His wife Hillary got $8 million for hers. That's $20 million for memories from two people who for eight years repeatedly testified, under oath, that they couldn't remember anything.
God Bless America!

If the democrats take over, that story will be everyday over and over...commies...im sick of all this have and have not BS. the guys who have all the toys and cash earned it. dont give it to some lazy ass that doenst want to work but leeches off other people's tax money. i think its horse **** that my SS and FICA is going to some of the lazy asses in the trailer park across the tracks from the mill. im not saying that because you live in a trailer you're lazy, but thers a few people over there taht dont want to work at all. they get their welfare check and bitch and complain.
i found it funny when Pres. Bush came to our town that there was a bus of protesters led by some guy who lost his job because of Bush somehow. I thought to myself," if you're unemployed, why the hell are you protesting? you should be out looking for job." i asked my liberal math teacher about that. he just told me that somebody has to protest and then went into how my parents are brainwashing me and how Bush is evil and the Iraq war is wrong. talking about parenting, he's admitted he failed as a father...he tried to embarrass me in front of the class because of my conservative views. i just gave it to him back with both barrels pricks like that...yeah that was going off subject..
RE: Personal Accountability.....whatever happened?

Johnny goes in the cookie jar and steals a cookie.
Liberal: "That"s OK; it"s not your fault. I should have put them up so you wouldn"t be tempted. It"s my fault, I"m sorry. Here have another"
Johnny learns that nothing is ever his fault. He can do anything he wants, and someone else is to blame because they didn"t stop/prevent him from doing it.
Me: "I would have given you one, if you had asked." Slap Johnny"s hand! Tell Johnny that stealing was wrong. Then eat a cookie and give Johnny none.
Johnny learns that there are consequences to every action. He did wrong, and it came back at him. Johnny doesn"t put his hand in the cookie jar again without asking.
To answer you question:
Liberals, that"s what happened to personal accountability.

That's exactly how I raised my kids , by Newton's Law of Cause and Effect . If you "cause" me to look at you with angry eyes I'll "effect" your ability to sit for awhile . I can honestly say that I'm proud of all of them today .
