Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Idiots! Idiot B-movie actor, idiot animal rights activists, idiot "animal lovers". Let's forget about this Sipek character's lack of responsibility for a potential deadly animal and blame it all on those trying to protect the public and themselves. Personally, I think Tarzan should face charges for endangering his neighbors. Idiots.

In a "sane" society that would be the procedure. I say we give these loonies their own state to move to (Taxachusetts and Rhode Island come to mind) surround it with a 16 foot wall and release all these oppressed animals all the while singing the lyrics to "Born Free" the thought makes me want to cry.[>:][>:]

Lol, I'm with you there....

Seriously, though, I don't think that people should be allowed to import exotic animals at all. I don't want the government telling me what I can and can't do any more than necessary, but introducing non-native animals as pets is always a bad thing, IMHO (look at the northern snakehead fish invasion we're dealing with here in VA and MD). We don't need wild animals as pets, and they're potentially dangerous to people and our native animals. I couldn't care less if someone had a pet groundhog or crow or whatever, but it had better be from North America. If this guy wants a tiger, he needs to move to India.

I agree but there are literally thousands of tigers ,lions whatever big cat living in the US on private ranches. They are destroying magnificent animals for their own greed or pleasure. I still for the life of me cannot understand how someone can cage an animal who in the wild would have a territorial area the size of most counties in the US.

Did you notice the end of the article?

But that investigation, which could have led to a revocation of Sipek's permit to keep exotic animals as pets, may have been derailed by a fire on Monday night, sparked by an electrical fault, that severely damaged the building.
I wonder......

Threatening people's lives is childish and stupid regardless which side of the fence your on, lets not stoop to their level.

I watch animals in the wild. They walk they eat they look so pretty, sometimes I watch them for hours. I"™ve learned what they like to eat, and where they like to sleep.

I AM AN ANIMAL LOVER as I"™m sure most of you here in this forum are! I LOVE to hunt them, I LOVE to cook them, and I especially LOVE to eat them. If there"™s a souvenir left over, hanging on my wall, that"™s OK fine too, but not required.

Right! I feel sorry for the poor dumb tiger, which was owned by a moron! No private individual should be keeping critters like this at home!
