Saw a guy on Hannity and Colmes last night who said the NAACP is a nonprofit group, yet there have been several speeches by their leadership telling members to vote for Kerry or against Bush. This is the same law that forbids churches from endorsing a candidate. Since this violates tax law, the IRS should go after the NAACP.
Do you think anyone in the gov't has the guts to persue this? Should it be persued at all?
like farmcntry said , but they really should be tackled for violating that law , but i doubt anyone really wants to be labeled a racist , it seems that whenever anybody tries to put that organization in check or doesn't do exactly what they want they get labeled a racists or a nazi , it's just such a shame that , that organization had to fall so far from what it was meant to be

Yes, I believe the Feds should look into their political activities. No investigator or prosecutor should feel pressured to keep quiet to avoid the 'R-Word'. I know many do, though. Frankly, if a racist calls me a racist, I have to laugh.
The naacp is simply a hate group filled with racists. During the last Presidential election, they ran an ad that portrayed President Bush being responsible for the dragging death of a black man. They hurled insults his way all during that campaign and now have the nerve to whine and complain that he doesn't care about them because he didn't come to their convention.
As if his appearing would have changed even one of their already made up minds!
