I know many democrats - even some of my better friends are democrats! Many of my relatives are democrats from the depression era. I hear from many about how they're really for US values, so I have a challenge...

The leadership @ the top of the democrat part is rotten. Socialist/leftist/statists are running things & slowly killing your party. Your leaders are far outside of the mainstream of the US, people who don't want to live in some socialist **** .
Your presidential candidates are far left wing aristocrats, sneering down their noses @ you. They're celebrating Michael Moore, a person far to their left who has only nasty things to say about your party. Their entire campaing is built on hatred of President Bush & anything that may be a positive for him. In doing this, your democrat leaders have set themselves up so that anything bad for the US is good for them, while any good news for the US is bad for them. They propped up the flaccid prisoner abuse scandal long after it had any substance. They've screeched "Bush Lied about WMD" even after WMD have been found, they've spewed "Bush lied about terrorist ties" even after these ties have been proven & Saddam's own terrorist aspirations were made public. They've opposed the US & the President with low-brow, classless attacks while we're at war. They seem to care more about whether the French or Germans like us than stopping the terrorists who want to kill us. 9-11 did not wake them up, they're acting like fools while the President & others who love this country are trying to destroy the evil ones who would destroy us.
If you're a democrat who truly loves the United States & feels that our country is special, is exceptional, is the defender of freedom & a shining city on a hill, take your party back while there's still something there!!!

The demmies have all but black-balled him, I don't know why he still considers himself a democrat, He is what their party used to be, but they have changed, I was raised in a democrat home so was my wife, the one mark on the ballot type. The republicans did'nt convert her and I to their side of the aisle, clinton and the democrats did.

About 15 years ago, the Texas Republican party ran some TV spots that were the most effective spots I have ever seen. Can't understand why it isn't updated and run by the national party.

This involves alot more than Zell campaigning for Bush, matter of fact them doing the things they are doing not only to him but as a party in whole is why Zell is campaigning for Bush. Why he even remains in their party is beyond me.
