Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Sounds Like the Moms are worried

Here is the latest newsletter from the Brady Campaign and the Thousand Mom March from their Stop the NRA Web Mailer.

Dear Friend,

To get a sense of what's going on with the Assault Weapons Ban, listen to Wayne La Pierre, the president of the NRA. In a recent rant to NRA members, La Pierre jubilantly exclaimed, "I'm here to promise you that's the end of the ban. It's over. On September 14, the sun will rise and it will never see the light of day again."

Not a single constituency in the United States believes the Assault Weapons Ban should expire except for the NRA. We need your help to make sure that this small extremist group fails.

Here's what's going on right now:

We will begin advertising on the New York Times website starting Monday. Over 30 editorial boards in major newspapers across the country have written to express their support for the ban. And our television ad, which has run in Washington D.C., is going back on the air imminently. Click here to see the ad.

Help us prevent the NRA from continuing to spread its fanatical "no gun policy is a good gun policy" ideology. Over 70% of Americans support the Assault Weapons Ban for good reason. In this day and age, why would anybody want Uzi's and AK-47's back on our streets?

To keep the pressure on, we need your sustained support. Your financial contributions make our efforts possible. To contribute, click here.

This week, we sent a letter to every member of Congress signed by Presidents Ford, Carter, and Clinton urging Congress to renew the ban. Reagan's support before his death means that every president within the past thirty years supports the ban, except for the two Bushes. (During the 2000 campaign, Bush said that he supports the ban but he has done nothing about the issue since.)

Congress has only 16 working days to renew the ban. Help us make sure they do

Ya my Pinko Senator responded to me with some BS crap about how gun crimes went down with the AWB in place. I asked her how Gun control works when to of the biggest cities in the States has the highest crime rate to go along with the highest gun control?

Get ready for some more lies from the ignorant bunch.

If the NRA is a small group with 4,000,000 members I wonder what their group of dummies would be considered as size?

As I've said before, these people cannot use facts, because the facts prove them to be wrong! All they come up with are outright lies and at the very best, twisted, half-truths! Being filled with lies and half-truths their arguments are very shallow! If we can continue to scratch the surface of their glossy "paintings," we can expose them for what they really are, a bunch of ugliness, sugarcoated to look and taste good going down! I really think that a big percentage of the anti-gun crowd are misguided by a small faction of people, who have much deeper and darker motives! Again, we need to keep exposing them to the facts, their "paint" can't hold up to the light of the truth!

Notice how they had all gun hating ex-prezs sign it , not Reagan or the Bushes or any pro-gun prez . Seems like the letter would have had more weight if Dubya signed it ... [:@]

Wayne is Executive VP and Kayne Robinson is the new Pres of the NRA after Charlton Heston became ill.
