Is this supposedly beheaded marine now hiding in Lebanon?

That's the feeling I get, but I'm not going to try guessing too hard. I can't imagine where else a muslim soldier from Lebanon who vowed not to return to the military would be, but strange things can happen. Hopefully we'll get some straight news sooner or later.

An article I read this morning indicates that the Marines are now investigating him and if he possibly arranged the entire thing himself. It makes me wonder if the armed forces shouldn't review the enlistment policies and go back to what was in place about 40 years ago. When I enlisted there was an FBI background check that included what was called an "Agencies" check to determine if you were associated with any organization that didn't have the best interest of the U.S. at heart.
