Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Power Given Iraq

Power was given to Iraq, the coalition pulled a fast one on the insurgents.
Nato has agreed to help in training etc.

So far it looks like some very smart people are doing a good job.
Of course the Big three networks had to add their negitive slant. But they were about three hour behind Fox.
We can hope this is the start of something good.
I'm optimistic

You got that right on the media slant...today on my local 11am news the big story about the war on terror was the sumpreme court ruling[:'(] they did show a little blurb about the transfer to Iraq, just after the story on how to make desserts with raspberries. What a joke they made it a back page story with it being the very last thing they reported on[:'(][:@]

I'm confident that the government will continue to gain power and credibility so long as our forces remain. While we're not going to be there forever, I think the new government might just pull it off and hold elections in January. After that, we'll have to call it as we see it.

They key is maintaining "security" while the government, military, and police get the training and resources they need to succeed in the long run.
