It seems to me that the Democratic Party has completely lost the moral fiber of its being. In 2000, I was amazed at the Democrats and their efforts to insure that their man would take the White House. I thought they could stoop no lower. But, boy, was I ever wrong.
Let's consider what we have:
** Al Gore is repeatedly giving fiery speeches that fringe on lunacy, ripping into President Bush like no former official has attacked a sitting president in our nation's history. A good portion of what he is saying is outright lies and he knows that they are lies. Yet he seems willing, like his party as a whole, to cast aside any pretense of ethical politics, if there ever is such a thing, in an effort to make sure that Bush isn't re-elected.
**Michael Moore produces a film that is one half blatantly false and the other half blatantly political. The way it attacks a sitting president, Moore should be found guilty of treason. The timing of its release leaves no doubt its intentions. Instead of denouncing the film for its fallacies and half-truths, the Democrats gleefully rub their hands and some offer outright praise for the film, as they realize it might help their chances in November.
**Lawsuits. Gore set a precident in 2000 when, rather than admit to his loss and let America get on with the changing of hands of the presidential administration, he hired scores of attorneys in an effort to waylay the most important election decision the free world makes. Kerry has promised to capitalize on this new tactic, having already announced that he will have legal teams in place across the country to respond to any cases of voters being "disenfranchized." Lest anyone think that this isn't, in fact, the Democrats' new election strategy, consider Florida's 2002 gubernatorial election, when Janet Reno vowed to hold up the certification of the ballots with the courts, until it became obvious that no measure could prevent the inevitable outcome, her loss to Jeb Bush. Rather than try to speak out against these tactics, the Democrats concoct wild conspiracy stories that suggest all Republicans are out to disenfranchize every American voter who doesn't punch the GOP side of the ticket, particularly those whose skin is black, brown or yellow.
** Several of our nation's so-called "mainstream" media outlets - CNN, New York Times, etc. - have pulled out all stops and are biased as probably none of us have ever seen before as they attempt to help the Democrats' cause at any cost. From blatant lies --- The New York Times (and several other major newspapers) ran a front page story regarding the lack of bin Laden/Saddam ties and Bush's referrals to such, as found by the 9/11 Commission. This story was "leaked" by a commission insider. Several others came forward the following day to say that the reports were absolutely unfounded. Despite running a front page story on the initial report, the Times never offered a single word of correction --- to extreme bias --- When most of Kerry's commanding officers held a press conference to say that Kerry was unfit to be a national leader, CNN never mentioned it. When a group of former diplomats and military leaders held a press conference a couple of weeks ago to say that Bush's policies were a danger to national security, it was CNN.Com's front page story.
The scary part? Nearly half of our nation's population stand shoulder-to-shoulder with these immoral Democrat politicians. What does that say about our nation as a whole? [&o]

Anything good for America is bad for the liberals, Rush has stated that over and over, at first I thought he was little off with that statement, but time has proved him right again.
Power is more important to them than America, its safety and its citizens. Plum pitiful to what the liberal party has become. The ignorance of liberalism , I will never understand.

Talk about a lack of morals. Earlier this week the republicansrefused to bring a vote on veterans benefits to the floor, because they didnt want to give Kerry the chance to vote on it before going to a fund raiser. Talk about playing partisan politics with peoples lives!!!!!!
And CNN is not as blatant about their bias as FOX news is.
Guys its both sides of the fence. Both are full of crap.

Hello all, been away a while fighting anti-gunners and working. I actually enjoy both BTW.
I read a few years ago "The heart of Conservitism" by Barry Goldwater. written 1961. AN EXCELLENT BOOK and a must read for all. It explains and defines conservatism. And NO, it is not centered on being Christian, but judeo-christian foundings and healthy respect for all persons inherent liberty freedom to express your religon (any) anyway you wanted.
But, the tru heart of conservitism is the limitation of government and not saddling the people with the governments inadequacies. Again, a great read.
Point is being one to look at both sides of the issue and evaluate, there is no analog or companion equlivalent of the Liberalism. I think that is it. It was the "big-tent" party to oppose the opposition whoever that may be, whenever that is!?!?!?!???!!!!??!
Well now that the old lady America must look after herself, when the Party in Power is looking after her, to oppose the opposition is to oppose America, you get that logic?
I think that the Liberals are secretly pissed they were not in power when 9/11 and the Iraq war was in. If they were, the dance may have been the same but the words spoken would have been MUCH different. Look at what Gore said about Iraq and Bin laden in 1992. He either lied then or is lying now.

Aww bull crap. Many senators have run for president and had a hectic schedule during the campain season. Kerry in not unique in this.
They didnt wat Keery to be able to say he voted for Veterans benefits, and they wanted to delay his arrival for the fund raiser, so they scraped a vote on Veterans benefits.
It doesnt matter though, you dont screw with a benefits package as important this one, like Kerry or not.
