OK, so are we fighting against 9/11 specifically or terrorism in general? It doesn't matter one bit whether Hussein had a hand in the plane attacks; if two terrorists who have vowed to destroy the U.S. and our allies are working together on anything, we need to take care of business.

I look forward to hearing what the lefties have to say about this.

But the bipartisan commission probing the Sept. 11 attacks has said there was no evidence of a "collaborative relationship" even though there were contacts between Iraqis and al Qaeda, including a Sudan meeting between bin Laden and Iraqi intelligence officers.

The fact that the 2 parties both fanatical anti-americans had a "relationship" cannot be glossed over.

Again, I feel we did and are doing a good thing in Iraq! Saddam did support terrorism and they either had, or were developing WMD's. (the waiting on the foot-dragging UN gave them plenty of time to get rid of any WMD's that they had)
The war on terrorism must be an offensive war! Terrorism may never be totally defeated but, the more we keep the pressure up, the more their efforts will be disrupted, and the safer we will all be!

We are at war with terrorism; they declared war on us, not the other way around. If we don't fight them on their soil & on our terms, we'll be fighting them on our soil on their terms.
