How's Schwarzenegger Doing as Gov?

Living over here on the east coast, we don't hear too much about Arnie and how he's doing as Governor of Cali. Is he doing a good job?

So far, he's actually got a budget passed by the legislature on time (a huge accomplishment), trimmed some of the pork away, got both sides to back some deferment bonds to give us breathing room, held some of the Indian casinos accountable and negotiated a tax rate with them in exchange for more slot machines and is working on restructuring the workers comp program which is out of control in CA. So far, he's actually doing a lot of what he said he would do but without much of the hoopla and fanfare. It's still early to give a final verdict but he's acomplished more so far than most ever thought he could.

i would like to add that the governator has reached an agreement with the indian tribes where it would bring 1 billion dollars to the state.

I figured he was doing a good job. He's a smart guy and very driven. He came over as an immigrant and a brick layer and built himself an empire. Ask him about the American dream.
