Israel Training Kurdish Commandos in Iraq - Report

This is just what we need. It might be a false report, but if true, it's one more thing that the U.S. is going to get caught up in. We're over there taking care of business, and the last thing we need is our "ally" sowing the seeds of mistrust and hatred in Iraq. The various factions are already at odds with one another, and working towards a democratic government is a massive undertaking for us.

Something tells me that the muslim majority won't sit idly by while Kurds trained in espionage by Jews roam the land and hop borders. Israel needs to back the heck up and let us finish our work. We're the ones occupying Iraq; we can collect the intelligence ourselves.

th's not good , and what iran is now doing isn't helping matters either. i think all of these other countries are going to start going at it and we'll end up stuck in the middle

If we think about it, all of the groups over there are stepping up their readiness for the huge vacuum they anticipate when we turn over Iraq to the Iraqis.

I would have no worries if the Isrealis were doing this strictly for intelligence reasons, but if they are training/supporting these folks as true commandos then we could see a big can of worms opened up. Isreal has very few friends in the Arab world and this is not a way to make any, well except the Kurds.

The problem I have is that a good many muslims around the world view the U.S. as Israel's puppet. The more I look at the issue, the most it seems we lose for Israel's gain. With these trainers in Iraq, it's just a matter of time before some international incident occurs, and I suspect that we'll be blamed along with Israel. Not what we need for stability.

Why is it that the Israelis can't figure out that they are already unpopular in the Arab world , and that they should just stay low and mind their own business ? Crap like this will eventually get them exterminated if the Arabs ever get organized enough to work together . [:@]
