Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Deja Vu All Over Again

During any Presidential election, pundits & others look to compare the current race to ones past. Which election does this current remind you of?

Many on the democrat side want a repeat of 1992, when Bush 41 pretty much gave up & campaigned half-heartedly, only to be defeated by Clinton.

I'm personally reminded of the 1996 election. During that time the republican's dislike for Clinton caused many to think he would lose to whomever was nominated. We nominated a Senator, Bob Dole, whose campaign never really took off & he was defeated. Even the addition of Jack Kemp, conservative icon, as VP helped.

Today, the democrats & left hate President Bush with much more intense passion & venom than the republicans disliked Clinton. Today, the democrats are seemingly poised to elect Senator Kerry, who is not known as a charismatic charming person & great campaigner. In recent weeks, the media has attempted to create a buzz over the democrat VP choice, as if this will give Kerry the "umph" to overcome his deficiencies & win.

What do you think?

Nice observation, I think the end result will be the same. I know a lot of people get their news from the major three, but I don't think America is dumb enough to beleive what they say.Look at the map of the '00 election bush was red and Gore was blue, you could find three or four small masses of blue on a red background. The conservative majority stays silent unitl election night....Let's hope.

Yeah, Trapper T, let's hope!
We don't need to change the course now! We need a president that is strong on national security!
Anyone who has any doubt about it, just ask Osama, Saddam, and the UN, who they would vote for! Then just vote for the opposite!

If Kerry wins, which probably wont happen, but if he does, it will be exactly like Clinton. He'll walk into the Presidency with everything going good, like the economy going up, and then he'll take credit for it, like Clinton did. I dont think that will be the case. Bush is gonna win. We gotta stick together and convince those fence sitters. I'll be out campaigning for the Teenage Republicans of Crawford county probably this summer and fall.
