i dunno heard about this on the foxnews channel that the Iranian goverment has sponsored a meeting or rally where about 10,000 people signed up to be suicide bombers now the scary part is that some people say that this recent wave of carbombings are the first of several. and with the nuclear problems with Iran should we go in there asap after we get iraq squared away?
It's my opinion that our next major objective in WWIII. (I know, I sound like a fruit cake when I say that, but this is WWIII) will be an assistance to the Israielies in their fight against the P.L.O.
Our goal is to establish several forms of democracy in that region, Isreal is the next step. Sure, they [b][are/b] a true 'republic form of democracy, but they are, and have been under attack for many years now.
Isreal, and soon to be Iraq, will be in a position to throw a few jet fighters into Iran and for a second time, take out Irans nuclear capabilities.
Iran will be taken care of as a natural course of events. North Korea will fall with the aid of "behind the scenes help". Syria is the next sure enough "bad guy" in the sights.
Most of the world is hoping and banking on there being another president in the white house in a few months. America has quite a long track record of starting something and then not being around to finish it.
The media is fascinated with the transfer of power in Iraq right now...The real fireworks will start once the transfer is complete....IF...President Bush is re-elected.
Beirut, Lebanon, Jun. 15 (UPI) -- Iran reportedly is readying troops to move into Iraq if U.S. troops pull out, leaving a security vacuum.
The Saudi daily Al-Sharq al-Awsat, monitored in Beirut, reports Iran has massed four battalions at the border.
Al-Sharq al-Awsat quoted "reliable Iraqi sources" as saying, "Iran moved part of its regular military forces towards the Iraqi border in the southern sector at a time its military intelligence agents were operating inside Iraqi territory."
I won't get started on what I think about Isreal.

I'm still weighing the evidence, but the case against Iran is pretty strong right now. They are getting material and intellectual assistance in their nuclear weapons program from both China and North Korea, and they are denying eveything. Their links to terrorism funding was established long ago, and they continue to pull the strings of militant Shiites in Iraq as we speak. In short, Iran is led by a oppressive government that prefers terror and lies to liberty and truth. They have made it clear that they consider us an enemy, and I think we should return the sentiment in very strong terms.
The Chairman of China's National People's Congress, Li Peng, secretly visited Israel Military Industries yesterday, where he surveyed an aircraft fitted with the AWACS radar system that has been prepared especially for the Chinese air force. The visit had not been coordinated with the Defense Ministry and was added to the official's timetable at the last moment.
The American magazine Aviation Week and Space Technology reports in its latest issue that the U.S. government has requested Israel to reconsider its deal with the Chinese. American air force experts claim that the system is capable of locating stealth aircraft and cruise missiles. They estimate that China will need four planes fitted with the system to operate 24 hours a day around the year. The periodical also claims that Israel has offered the system to India, South Korea and Turkey.
A senior source in Israel Military Industries called the American stance cynical and hypocritical.
Li wanted to visit Israel Military Industries in order to view the progress of the AWACS plane. Li Peng was welcomed by the company's chairman, Uri Or, and CEO Moshe Karet. His visit was shrouded in secrecy, even the head of the company's media department and its spokeswoman were not informed.
The early-warning system was built by Alta, a daughter company of Israel Military Industries and is considered a leader in the field. The system provides information on a 360 degree range of up to 360 kilometers. Along with locating stealth planes, it can also recognize warning systems in enemy planes.

I know I said I wasn't going to get started about Israel but here's some, more info.
Israel has illegally re-exported advanced US defense technology to China. The problem was first recognized in 1992 when the State Department's inspector general reported that there was "overwhelming" evidence of a "systematic and growing pattern" of transfers. Israel has been the primary supplier of advanced defense technology to China since 1989. China has received technologies from Israel that the United States and other Western countries have not been willing to supply. Known transfers of technology include the Lavi fighter, the J-10 airborne radar systems, tank programs, variety of missiles, STAR-1 cruise missile technology, and the most lethal air-to-air Python-4 missile. It is also suspected that Israel has provided China with surface-to-air missile technology. These transfers are a direct violation of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), which states that sensitive US technology may not be re-exported to a third party without consent from the United States; nor may these re-exports be authorized if the United States does not export the technology on its own.
According to Secretary of Defense William Cohen, the United States is concerned about the re-export issue for two reasons. First, access to advanced US defense technology would both, threaten US forces in East Asia, and stability in the region. And second, given China's record of proliferation of sophisticated conventional weaponry and nuclear-weapons-related technology to Pakistan and Iran, US forces in the Persian Gulf and US allies in the Middle East would also be jeopardized. Adding to these concerns is the fact that neither Congress nor President Clinton are prepared to confront Israel on the issue.
