Anyone collect things besides guns?

I was going through some boxes in the attic the other day and came across my Military Patch collection. It got me to start going through others things I've seem to latch on to over the years.

I know we all probably had our Beer Can collections and sporting card collections at one time. But other than that and the new state quarters people have been hoarding. What kinds of things have grabed your interests over the years?

I have about 100 or so military patchhes that I've collected. I also have a Marlin catalog collection for every year from 1962 to 2004 (why Marlin?) not really sure. I also have a bunch of War movies both on video and dvd. Quite a collection of hunting and shooting related books. And I have a collection of American Rifleman Magazines from 1975 to present.

Why do we keep all this junk? Its never really ever worth much!

Oh and I have a crap load of hats!

I've got a bunch of old Coca-Cola advertising from 1912 to the present.

I'm not really an "avid" collector of any one specific item, but I do tend to collect "old" fishing and nautical stuff in general.

I rock hound and of course collect the specimens I find. Geodes, topaz, petrified wood, dinosaur bones, jasper, flourite, garnet, opal, and any thing else that strikes my interest.

Actually I collect knives, military stuff and anything older than me.(thats getting harder all the time)

i collect 1/24 scale die-cast race cars of ; dale earnhardt , dale earnhardt jr. , kevin harvick , jeff gordon , some mark martin , and some rusty wallace .

in fact i just got back from the pocono 500 and picked up dale jr.'s 2004 spring daytona oreo/ritz car
