Here is a test set up by the Sports Afield and Hunting Magazine founder Bob Petersen. It is 14 questions on gun related issues. I think the test is great. With the exception of question 9 which CharlieP has pointed out to us a hundred times. I tried to skip the question but it wouldn't allow it to go through so I answered it then emailed them and asked them to change the question or to allow us to abstain from voting on it. I told them I didn't want to give the impression that I supported either position and it would skew the results, because 90% of gun owners want it to expire. So answer honestly then email them maybe they will add another question or let it go without voting on it.

Its a nice feel good poll, but alot of the questions are really shaded. Like the one below-----
Candidate A supports an instant background check before people could buy guns at gun shows.
Candidate B supports a background check with a delay of several days - a delay that would severely restrict commerce at gun shows.
First of all you see the post is bias in the wording of the question, secondly both men support background checks. The only differance is, Kerry wants them now, and bush is of the mind to wait until we can make them truely instant. I am sure Kerry would like to have them instant as well, but the poll shades his views to make it look like he wants to delay you getting to buy a gun at a gun show, and thats just not true.

I wouldnt expect kerry to support instant background checks, i think he supports a waiting period.

Well, 13 of 14 were for Bush. The only one that wasn't, was for the death penalty. I actually supported all of it except the "Drug" one. I don't think you should be killed over drug related activities unless you take the life of another in a drug related scenario.
