Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Guns & Criminal Acts

If you're nuts enough to kill another human being, not having a gun will not stop you. How many people are stabbed, strangled, suffocated or beaten to death? A gun is just an easier method. The addage "guns don't kill people - people kill people" is very true.

I whole-heartedly agree!
I don't think that any NRA member or Second Amendment supporter, would be against extra laws and punishments for criminals using firearms!
It is a cold, hard, fact, that in these tragic, high-profile killings, many other laws were broken, and another needless gun law, would not have prevented the tragedy!
It seems that the anti's would rather punish the gun, instead of the criminal!

Default RE: Guns & Criminal Acts

Here's a new one I heard today at the skeet range:

Last year my friend's son wrote an essay of the "what I did last summer"-type. He wrote that his grandfather showed him how to handle, shoo & clean a gun (shotgun). He was questioned severely and made to sign a document that "affirmed" his stance against gun violence, and the he would refrain from behaviors on school grounds that promoted the use of firearms.

But.....many of his classmates can act out their latest paintball & airsoft skirmishes and boast of how many "kills" they made over the weekend, because....it's not considered dangerous the guns aren't real and so the "behaviors" don't promote the use of firearms.

Who do you think is more likely to have an accident or make a bad decision with a gun?
If you're confused by the double standard & illogic, join the club.

What a frickin double standard. While working in the educational system, I have seen so many more injurys occur from the use of Paintball guns...that are completley legal on the campus I work at.
