RE: Kerry Confesses
I have heard that tape before with video and yes he did say those things. I never have had much use for the man and nothing has changed.
The thing is he was a real lefty then and is one now but he fit right in with the general public crowd that provided him with and audence and a platform during that era.
Often here I read about how the drafted army lost the war and now the all volunteer army is so much better. A lot of kerry and fonda in that type of thinking.
I served in the army in combat and we never lost a fire fight and the US Army, US Marines. Air Force and Navy won most of their battles and were winning the war militarialy agianst the odds with little to no support from home. The politicians because of the American people wanted to pull out rather than fight. We saw that agian under clinton. It isn't the soldiers or how they get in, just look at the numbers of men who were drafted into the military in WW11. It's the leadership on the political control.
All good soldiers then and as good as the ones now to the man. Yes there were some malcontents, sad sacks and losser but as you see we also have them now amoung those volunteers.
Kerry was a volunteer and maintians that mentaillity to this day. If given the chance what will he do for our troops in combat based on his past practices. Yes I was for the War then I was agianst the Soldiers now. type thinking.
