What Political Party do you belong to?

I'm an Independent. If I were to join a party it would be Libertarian or Constitution party.

Registered Republican, but down here in the South most Democrats and Republicans that run for local office see the same issues the same way.
Not a lot of liberals run for office down here.

I've been a Libertarian since I was 17. Of course, I wasn't able to vote Libertarian until the 2000 election.

Charlie I have voted a mix of Republican and Democrat in the past. Since Clinton's foibles I have voted straight Republican ticket. As far as this election goes I may not vote am not impressed by either but especially unimpressed by Kerry. I too wish there was another party.

Farmcntry then exactly what are Governor Easleys political leanings? How many tax increases have we had since he has been elected?

In my younger days I was a Democrat! After digging a little deeper, I became more or less an independent!
After really digging deeper and studying the issues and the candidates, I have not been able to vote for a dummycrap in the last fifteen years!
Registered Republican! Independents cannot win, and "making a statement," gives us bottom of the barrel trash for elected leadership 99.9% of the time!!

In my first election I hate to say I was a democrat, since then I have become a member of the lesser of two evils party!

Republican from day one. First president I voted for was Bush Senior in 1988 and he won.

Switched to the Republican Party from Democratic Party when I kept hearing the same promises election after election and nothing changed when they had the chance to make changes.
