Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Youth is over-rated.

Growing older is good.

It is nice to:

have done at least some of what you always wanted to do.

have finished the harder parts of raising children.

gotten closer to your parents.

know who your friends are; make new ones and understand the process better.

finally appreciate the simpler things in life.

stop caring about what really does not matter.

have accepted your flaws and the flaws in others.

understand the unpredictably of life to at least a small degree.

be able to laugh at yourself.

How true, how true.
And when you get "older" all you wanna be is young again.
Don't figure.

It's a heckuva thing to look in the mirror one day and see your Dad looking back at you.

All those aspirations about how, what, where and when you were gonna live your life all of a sudden go from what I was "gonna-do" to "what have I already done".

I think that we should all be born old, and then work our way back to infancy...It would probably be a lot more fun that way.

Yep I do agree that getting older is a pain.. but there are also some upsides to it as well.. for the most part have made our worst mistakes and are better and smarter for the mistakes we have made, and when we look around, we dont see any young men and women running this world.. we see age and EXPERIENCE calling the real shots! like they say, age does have its benefits.

Bull, unless you're retired you're in for a rocky road.

I must have missed something along the way.

Me and the wife severely curtailed our children due to fear of finances.

We never took a vacation for fear of finances.

We never took any undue chances due to fear of finances.

We made sure we both were working due to finances.

And yet the MBA crowd is still trying to hack off my b&lls.

We were brought up to play fair. Our parents were stupid.

I now admire the dope dealer and the pimp... they resemble all of what most of america salutes to, graft, corruption and immorality.

Why do we place such disdain upon someone who deals cocaine when they are simply exercising the rituals and rights taught at such places as Wharton??

I will eventually be allowed to exact my revenge.

name the artist:

==========================
Friends all tried to warn me
But I held my head up high
All the time they warned me
But I only passed them by
They all tried to tell me
But I guess I didn't care
I turned my back and
Left them standing there

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Joey tried to help me find a job
A while ago
When I finally got it I didn't want to go
The party Mary gave for me
When I just walked away
Now there's nothing left to say

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Years have passed and I keep thinking
What a fool I've been
I look back into the past and
Think of way back then
I know that I lost everything I thought I that could win
I guess I should have listened to my friends

All the burning bridges that have fallen after me
All the lonely feelings and the burning memories
Everyone I left behind each time I closed the door
Burning bridges lost forevermore

Burning bridges lost forever
