I read about it, Powell needs to jump ship while he has some credibility left. His loyalty to the boy king is clouding his better judgement.

You're right, he won't be on Bush's staff. But it won't be to save his credibility or any such nonsense. It will be because secretaries of state rarely serve a second term.
