Default What did you do for gun rights this week?

A while back someone started posting about this same topic. Not worded quite this way,but simular. I was wondering what some of you did this past week to support gun ownership in America?

Did you?

Join the NRA or another pro-gun or pro-hunting organization

Buy a new firearm or purchase ammunition

Invite someone to go shooting at your gun club

Join a local gun club, or ask a friend to join with you

Drop off your old magazines related to hunting and guns to the local
dentist or doctors office. (they love finding those on the table) hee hee hee

Loan someone a book on hunting or shooting sports

Take an active role in your hunter safety programs to educate kids

Talk to or write your Congressmen about protecting hunting and shootiing.

PLEASE POST ANY OTHER IDEAS OR SUGGESTIONS THAT WILL HELP WITH OUR EFFORTS TO TAKE BACK OUR RIGHTS AND HERITAGES OF HUNTING AND GUN OWNERSHIP

Bought a Jr. Membership in the NRA for a friends 12 year old son. He's a great kid that loves shooting, hunting and fishing. Thought I'd send him a little gift.

Let's have a pity party for the Martyr FFYG's. I'll supply the violin music.

"Shot a liberal" now that's a good deed, no wonder so many folks think that gunnuts are actually NUTS!
Man don't you all have jobs and other interests or, are all of you on SSDI and sit around all day at your computers dreaming this sh$t up? I'll be damned if I'm going to go around worrying about some non existant BOOGEY MAN taking my weapons.

I am reminded at times of the old story of the "Little Red Hen" the only problem is, if the rest don't take a stand there will be no loaf to share at the end of this story. By the time the mental maturity level catches up to the physical maturity level of some folks, it may well be too late for all of us.

You are seriously out of touch with reality if you don't think that this particular "boogy man," as you call them, are real!
A few votes in the House of Representatives, 51 votes in the Senate, and a liberal president, BINGO!!! "Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them ALL in!" ala, Dianne Fienstein!
BTW, once that happens, it will take a 2/3 majority in Congress to undo the damage! Something that almost never happens!
Don't worry, Rem.222, we 4 million NRA members will carry you as far as we can too! Save your money to blow on something else! Enjoy the free ride while it lasts!

Now, Now! don't expect Rem to stand up and take notice of the real world.

He can sit around and Bash Bush and the NRA all he wants, because if you look at any of his posts relating to either one you'll find nothing but Bashing. He's a political hack.

Don't pity me Rem I do what I can, where you just piss and moan about things i put up or shut up!

Hate to be one of the several to burst your bubble Rem 222, but it is a very real threat.
Not to mention you may want to review Rule 4 in the posting rules:
No topics and/or statements which could be used to reflect poorly on hunting, archery or firearms. Anti-hunting and other posts indicating a stance against the hunting, archery and firearm industry will be removed.
That also includes our Second Amendment rights. Just FYI.
Gonna let it slide this time.....

Now back on topic...paid my dues for NRA, SAS, and in addition purchased 2 boxes of ammo for my 38, and 357mag.

I am not going to argue or debate with you Rem 222 on the open forum. There is no point...you have been trouble before on the boards, and I was just attempting to help. A simple suggestion that you reread that rule is all..... I speak/type and articulate well..... Sorry that you did not understand or read my post correctly. Oh...I do have a real job, Thanks for the advice though. Questions or comments...feel free to email me.
