Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Like we didn't have enough jobs going south already ?

Why would Bush sign something so deadly to his reelection chances before the election was over , rather like the AWB ?

I don't recall even hearing about either agreement before this thread .

For all his faults at least Slick Willy kept NAFTA public . This backdoor schitt infuriates me ! [:@] Now I see why Bush has waffled on AWB until just before the election . [:@]

I heard about the possible Central America treaty months ago on a news program, but not again until here. I was hoping it died never to be heard about again. At the time, Bush was said to be pushing for it..........and I have no good idea why.[:@]

With CAFTA however, our workers will now be competing with true "3rd World" workers and working conditions with little or no environmental controls, few labor laws and virtually no minimum wages laws.
And prices and taxes will still rise in this country...

we're screwed.. totally screwed.

What are the odds that our sell out Congress will ratify this garbage ?
I'd say 100% since the public is only now hearing about it . [:@]
