I guess maybe I am upset about the politics being interjected on the Iraqi prisoner abuse. The media using the photos for Bush bashing. The Democrats using the photos to get Rumsfeld to resign. We are making a huge deal over the mistreated prisoners and it is wrong what was done, but where is the media explosion about the beheading video of Nick Berg. Maybe if he was naked when the video was shot that might have made the media and left go crazy. Or maybe the Iraq prisoners should have been beheaded then maybe the media would leave it alone. Why is the coverage and outrage so one-sided?
Ted Kennedy has not come and spoke out against those responsible for the beheading video. He has prompted an investigation into the abuse that has ran deeper than the Chapaquitic (sp) incident that involved the drowning of his girlfriend.
We are dealing with what I believe are appropriately called "sub-people." The terrorist do not care about anyone or anything besides there blood thirsty demi-god. To say "god is great" while cutting the head of a human being is the work of no god at all but Satan.
Kill-em all and let the real God judge them. I feel relieved now but I am still upset!

It too went from second amendment issues to abortion and religion.

Not to mention all the liberals who claim to be gun rights supporters, but bash everything posted about it.

14mercs, what can really be said about the Iraqi's that beheaded that poor man. It's sad, that is for sure, but we (USA) has no control over what a terrorist does in Iraq. We do have control over our how our military or sub-contractors or whatever some of those treats POW's.

It is not a rumor. I sure hope not with the father of Nick Berg sitting in his front yard crying this morning. The pictures are on the web and the terrorists even hold up the head in the video which is on the net as well. Don't be such a fng.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the other thread started on April 29th and no one can argue the point that beheading this American is wrong.

He was in the military - right? Well I'm not rationalizing their behavior but death is something that the military has to deal with.

did you know that in 1944 the united states EXECUTED any german CITIZEN caught with a firearm... whether they used it or not?

We most certainly did not! If we had, we would have slaughtered the whole German army! Yes, we have had isolated acts of war crimes, it happens! However, we prosicute our own people for war crimes, we don't reward them as the Nazi's and terrorists do!
