HEY WHATS WITH VIACOM??

i dont know if you guys have ever noticed this but it seems to me that viacom seems to hate bush and that any anti-bush book that comes out they seem to promote it and publish it and its not just CBS( see-bull-stuff) its also MTV that promotes that garbage and have been nice to john kerrys campaign and have hammered bush on his policys. i dunno maybe its no big deal but i have yet to see cbs or mtv treat bush the way they have to john kerry.

are you referring to the Viacom that owns MTV , probably THE most liberal channel on tv ? The same MTV that is "rockin' the vote" in an effort to drum up 20 million new voters for Kerry ?

DOn't hold your breath waiting for it either. Most all the networks and most any show you can tell are liberal, except maybe Fox. Not because its a conspriacy or anything but most in TV are the artsie fartsie type and by nature tend to be liberal. It would be the same if I or you were a reporter, reporting on gun control or a hunting issue, could you give a fair report or would we slant it our way? I would probably slant it my way, just out of human nature.

I like to think that if I chose journalism as a profession , the profession of reporting facts objectively , that I would report the news without bias and stick only with verifiable facts regardless of the topic . But I don't work for Viacom ...

yeah kevin1 i was watching the MTV thing on rock the vote or whatever you call it and basically it was a 30 minute KERRY ad.
