After cleaning up the coffee I coughed all over my monitor after checking this schedule, I think I might give UPS a call and thank them for sending the few sets of reloading dies I ordered on a vacation of nearly 1/2 of the western states for a low price of $7.

Looks like this package took a bit of a side trip. Hope its delay will cause no problems for you or anyone else.

I see the US Postal Service as actually very effective.
Where else in the world can you put a $.37 stamp on an envelope, drop it in your mail box and have it travel across country and be drop at someone else home or office with in five days or less. In most of my cases it is three days. Nowhere. (The internet is not a legitimate comparison. I don't think highly of internet Christmas cards, business letters or faxes that have personal material in them. Try jamming a package throught that screen once for that matter.)

I send packages all the time using US Mail, FedX or the Brown Guys. It all depends on what the package size and destination is going to be. I think UPS is great and Fed X is right up there with them. But they are very selective about their customers compared to the US Postal Service.
The mail guys or gals have to check each and every mail box in the USA at every location except weekends and holidays plus deleiver packages and all that junk mail (junk mail does make a lot of money for them). FedX and UPS have a very limited amounts of stops in comparison.
Your package sure did get the go around but I think it is the exception rather than the rule.
I had some golf clugs take a similar trip through a wide range of city airports. Those clubs could have gotten a couple of rounds trips on the miles they put on. But normally, all my stuff gets to where it's going with me. But like in every thing else there are to special moments. Your package had more than its share.

Logs , there are exceptions to that 5 day rule...

#1 - Any bill that is sent to your address will get there 24 hours after the company that wants their money sends it !!!!

#2 - That same bill that you send with your check back to the compnay that wants your money, oh lets say 5 days prior to the due date, will undoubtably take about 10 days to get to their office !!! then they will call you asking where their money is and say they are going to charge you a late pay charge on your newxt bill [:@][:@]

It gets to their office, but the jerks only check their mail once a week. Then the jerk they have entering the payments usually stays on coffee breaks 6hrs in an 8hr day.

Why, this is nothing! The hold baggage I once sent to Vietnam from Travis AFB California went via Air France to Paris, then Munich, then on to Bombay India where it sat in a warehouse for 8 months while it was being searched for. By the time I got it, every item in it had been repurchased, and I was almost done with my tour of duty in that benighted hellhole!!
