Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Did Kerry take credit for Bob KERREY deciding vote?

I was listening to Sean Hannity on my drive home Monday when I heard him state that John Kerry said he was the deciding vote on some piece of legislation, but that upon inspection, it was BOB KERREY who was that deciding vote. Has anyone heard about this, and what are the details. If this is true, to me it is a new low for Kerry and shows that he will say anything to get elected.

Thanks

Yes it is true. Fox News reported it a couple of days ago but no other network has picked it up that I know of.

Kerry claimed he cast the deciding vote in one of Bill Clinton's bills that created several million jobs. Come to find out, it was Bob Kerry and not John Kerry who past the deciding vote.

It doesn't surprise me. We started seeing it with Clinton, we REALLY saw it with Gore, and now we see it with Flip-Flop Kerry... Democrats will say anything to get elected. The Democratic party has really gone into the sewer on the national level.

What I don't understand is this: If there is a piece of legislation that passes by one vote, then everyone who voted for it can rightfully say that they were the deciding vote. For it to have been Bob Kerrey, that means John Kerry must not have voted on whatever it was, because he would have been equally qualified to say he was the deciding vote if he had voted for it. See what I mean?

I would like to know the truth about this, because the reports implicitly suggest that John Kerry is taking credit for a deciding vote on a bill he didn't even vote for! If it is true, it is despicable and should be brought to light to show how whacked he is. If it is false the reporters should recant and give Kerry his proper credit.

Anyone else have any information on this?
