Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default What suckers these Americans be, eh??

Votes at the UN

These are the actual voting records of various Third World States, taken from both State Department and United Nations records!!

Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time.

Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time.

Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time.

United Arab Emirates votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.

Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.

Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.

Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.

Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.

India votes against the United States 81% of the time.

Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.

Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.

[b]US Foreign Aid to those that hate us:
Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.

Jordan votes 71% against the United States and receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

Pakistan votes 75% against the United States receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

India votes 81% against the United States, but still receives $143,699,000 annually.

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay their taxes.

Pass it along. Everyone needs to know this. No wonder the world has no respect for us. We're just a bunch of suckers!! Once again we prove P.T. Barnum's great adage!!

I find it ironic that we send millions in foreign aid to Israel , a country that obviously doesn't need the money . As for the other countries you listed I say cut off the money faucet until they start to see things our way . [:@]

I agree that we ought to cut off the faucet to these ungrateful Arab countries. Practically speaking, they are using our money against us.

When it comes to Israel, I look at it a little differently. The US taxpayers have given that country in the form of loans and direct grants over $85 billion since 1949. Whew . . . ! That is a ridiculously huge number and the yearly aid of billions ought to be reduced dramatically. Israel is, however, is the only democracy and our only friend in the Middle East. As long as we've got a foreign aid program, they ought to be toward the top of the list.

NCoutdoors, israel is our friend? What if we didn't give then billions? They already spy on us,sell our tech. to China, attacked one of our ships(USS Liberty) with a friend like that you know the rest.

I also found SA voting record very interesting. You know the country that also has had a telethon for Palestinian bombers funds terro and pay's off Al Quida. Our other allie in the Middle east.

You're right. It'd not a perfect relationship. We spy on them too. We spy on all of our "allies." My father did it for the US Army in West Germany in the 70s. But when it comes to national interests in the Middle East, ours most closely matches Israels. Could it be better? Yep. Are they a friend? Definitely.

"League of Willing Nations?" Ifferd, I like the sound of that . . .

If my history serves me correctly, we pushed for the creation of the "League of Nations" after WWI and the rest of the world didn't want it and it failed.
You've got this backwards!! While Woodrow Wilson pushed for the League of Nations, the U.S. (mostly isolationist Republican) Congress refused to permit the U.S. to join it, and when the League proved unable to control the military aggression of ***an and Hitler's Germany, the League then failed... If the U.S. had been a member, maybe it would have succeeded. But judging by the ineffectiveness of the U.N., it probably would have failed, just as the U.N. seems to have failed.....[&o]
