Dear Million Moms,

We have an exciting program planned for Mother's Day -- we hope to see you in D.C. on May 9th.

Grammy-winner Chaka Khan has generously agreed to donate her talent and time to perform at the Mother's Day event at the U.S. Capitol. Anyone who has ever seen her perform knows that she is a definite crowd pleaser.

However, she has a commitment in Reno on Saturday night, and there is no commercial flight to get her to Washington in time for the March. We need to raise a quick $32,000 to provide a private jet for her and her 15-person band.

Having a high-energy performer like Chaka Khan will ensure a large crowd and the entertainment media. We need both to ensure a successful event.

I am asking those who can afford it to please donate $150 toward this expense. We only need 200 people to donate $150 -- but we need it fast! There is lots of other great entertainment planned, but Chaka is our main performer. I just pledged $3,000. Please help with your donation!
