i just seen on the local news that Kerry is starting some sort of sportsman for kerry organisation in order to try and pull some votes from the typically rep. sportsman
he is claiming that we sportsmen are all pissed at bush for his nonenviromental stand

so what is your take on this ??
are there really that many sporstman that dislike Bush?
or is this just another kerry is so very line of BS??

I could see a group of sportsmen supporting the hunting/trapping of Kerry, but that's about it. I have a feeling his democrat "outdoormen" are probably some of his cronies who went dove hunting once decades ago. Any real hunter or fisherman who falls for it needs to have his/her head examined.

Politics is full of surprises.

I was shocked at the idea that Gore carried the state of Pennsylvania during the last election.

Hunters and fisherman (I absolutely refuse to say "fishers" or fisher persons") are primarily a blue-collar lot with anti-big-business slants and attitudes, and an innate sympathy for unions.

Don't scoff too quickly at the idea of Kerry stealing some of those votes.

I am willing to bet that there is a whole flock of brainwashed union members in states like Michigan, who will give their state to Kerry. Of course I am assuming that these folks are hunters and sportsman.

I am picking on Michigan because:

1. They have an awsome state for the outdoorsman.
2. They are a predominately Union state.
3. They have an obvious love for Algore because they handed their state to him in 2000.
