If they are available, and it is possible that they are not, the place to start would be the Clerk of the Court in the jurisdiction in which the trial took place. Even if they do not have them, they will be able to tell you who does and they may even be able to tell you if those records can be released.
Yeah, what coastie said. Another option is to check with your local newspaper. Particularly if you have a weekly in town. They may still have notes on file from the trial and might have a copy of the transcript as well.
