Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Do gooders do wrong

Here's a recent incident I thought I'd share the gang, but first....didja ever notice how many on the anti side of the fence think that wild animals just can't make it without help from do gooders?

On the west end of Oahu, there is a very small nesting colony of Laysan albatross in one of the public hunting areas. The biggest nesting coloies are on Laysan & Midway Islands, appx. 1000 mi west of Oahu. Laysan albatross are not endangered, but the population is under some serious threats to its well being. Albatross and all other seabirds are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. The nesting area is signed off, and bird hunters avoid the area and take pains to keep their bird dogs out of the area.

Last week some do gooders from "a group with Audobon in their name" took a chick from its nest because it had some sores on its "face". Merely picking it up is a violation, not to mention entering a posted nesting area. The birds get avain pox, think "bird chicken pox", it rarely kills them, but does look bad for a few weeks. Well they ended up taking the chick to the Humane society to "cure it". The vets at the Humane society decided to put the bird down because it was easy and made the chick nabbers feel good that they ended the misery of the young bird.

Who gets blamed for the sad plight of the small colony? Hunters are often blamed first followed by the mongooses. Does anyone get fined or jailed? No, because I mean like "do gooders" do good.....don't they?

Bleeding heart, liberal, do-gooders ALWAYS do more harm than good! Wether it's in the animal kingdom, with the tree huggers, and the like's that you mentioned, actually causing more animal sufferings and deaths than they prevent. To the political "do-gooders," like Hanoi Jane and the rest of the peace, love, and appeasement crowd, that cause harm to our soldiers and embolden our enemies!
