Why go into Iraq?

I'm sick and tired of hearing why did we go into Iraq? Our service men are getting killed because of G.W.B.

Here is why, sending a missile like a coward did before does not work. You got to send more then just a couple of pissy rockets. The way to prevent 9/11 from happening was to destroy the orgainization before 9/11. Had the same coward taken Bin Laden out when he had his 10 chances, 9/11 might have been prevented. The same with Saddam

Saddam had the capacity, the same as Osama, to attack the U.S. he was a ruthless killer and should be put to death for that. Why go into Iraq? If we didn't go there and get him he would eventually come here and get us. Just my thoughts.

I will agree with you here! Had the previous administration taken care of business, maybe 9/11 would not have happened!I say "maybe," because we will always have those who want to do harm to America, and there is no intellegence agency in the world that will stop them all!
However, I would have to put much more of the blame on Klintoon's gang! They had eight years, and were offered Bin Ladens' head and let it go! In eight years they basically sent one rocket up one camels butt! Now they want to blame the Bush administration for 9/11, when the administration was barely 9 months old at the time!
As for Saddam, I still feel we did the right thing! He may not have been, or may never be, a direct threat to America but, given the opportunity he would have been a great threat to us though! He certainly had WMD's, who knows, they had time to get them to "friendly" countries while we waited on the foot-dragging UN!
The bottom line on Iraq is, they harbored, and funded terrorism! The world, and America are better off, if not safer for Saddam's demise!
